Overview

Role purpose
The go-to-market specialist is responsible for driving speed to market and owning the acquisition strategy of the youth segment. The role will develop and bring to life an engagement roadmap through which we deliver unmatched customer experiences, and win share in the Ghanaian Youth market.  He or she will work with cross functional stakeholders to drive communication, experiential initiatives, sponsorships and events in alignment with business strategy.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
1. Grow segment base and achieve desired revenue targets.
2. Flawlessly manage youth engagement platforms to deliver unmatched customer experiences.
3. Have oversight responsibility for all loyalty initiatives targeted at base to drive retention and reduce churn
4. Drive communications needed for engagement and Digital/ Social media platforms
5. Work closely with commercial team and drive innovation in the way we execute

  • Ability to think both strategically and commercially with a good understanding of overall business dynamics.
  • Cross functional leadership skills, able to inspire agency and project team to deliver flawlessly, using the Vodafone way behaviours.
  • Good understanding of youth segment’s insights, trends, drivers and competition
  • A strong understanding/ experience  of digital marketing
 
Prior Experience:
  • The candidate must have a minimum of a First Degree in Marketing or a related field 
  • At least 3 years brand marketing experience in telecoms or FMCG managing a product category is desired
  • Demonstrated experience in managing agency to deliver on go-to-market projects/ activations
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and delivering to business targets
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and steer projects to completion on time, in full and with no errors.
